One Day Vs Day One Mindset

  • Update: 11/05/2020

Here's an example of two different mindsets...

1) 'One Day' Mindset

Say you want to lose weight, lose fat, tone up, get fitter, get stronger, more confident etc...

With this mindset you think and say;

> "I'll start eating healthy tomorrow..."
> "I'll miss today's session but definitely turn up on Wednesday..."
> ""One day" I'll make the effort to make these improvements I've been wanting for so long..."

Disadvantages of this mindset?

- a month later you still won't be as toned as you like
- a month later the clothes still won't fit as well or possibly fit worse
- a month later you won't be healthier and possibly be less healthy
- a month later you won't be any closer to the body/health/lifestyle you want

OR

2) 'Day One' Mindset

Say you want to lose weight, lose fat, tone up, get fitter, get stronger, more confident etc...

With this mindset you think and say;

> "I'll start making improvements to my diet today so I'm one day closer to the body I want..."
> "I'm feeling pretty tired but I'm going to get myself to go to training because I always feel so much better afterwards..."
> "Today is going to be "day one' of my journey towards to improving myself and my body..."

Advantages of this mindset?

- a month later you'll be more toned
- a month later your clothes will fit better
- a month later you'll be healthier
- a month later you you'll be closer to having the body/health/lifestyle you want

Be a today person, don't wait until tomorrow!

Either make today your 'day one' or use today as a stepping stone towards the body and mindset you want!
